Luke’s Pumpkin Patch 5th Birthday Party!
Luke’s birthday is in October, and since we love visiting pumpkin patches in the fall, I thought it would be appropriate to have his birthday party at a local farm, Pettit Creek Farms. This mean I didn’t have to worry about decorations and while I did make Luke’s shirt and Carly’s dress, I mainly focused on the dessert table. Here’s how it turned out!
Because the farm also had a pumpkin patch, I decided on a color scheme of orange and green gingham. Desserts included chocolate chip cookies, pumpkin patch candy corn brownie pies, pumpkin cookies, pumpkin pretzel bites, popcorn, cake pops, chocolate cupcakes, and pumpkin cupcakes.
Since the party was a lunchtime, we also ordered pizza and had it delivered to the farm. I also put together little snack boxes wrapped in green gingham ribbon, which also acted as favors along with the mini pumpkins.
We lucked out on the weather! It rained all morning and we were tempted to cancel, but it ended up being the perfect day. The kids wore themselves out with the pony rides, petting zoo, corn maze, inflatable bounce houses, Euro-Bungy, and hay ride. Fun!
What a fun day!
