Happy Thanksgiving!

I can’t believe it is time for Thanksgiving and less than a month away from Christmas!

Last week, Luke’s school had a cute little Thanksgiving program and party. Luke’s class dressed up as pilgrims…aren’t they cute? I was one of the mom’s in charge of the party, so I made turkey cake pops, a turkey cookie platter, turkey juice boxes, and turkey sandwiches. I also made some little mason jar favors for all of the kids and teachers. Inside each mason jar were cookies (one circle for the face, 2 eyes, 1 beak, 2 feet, and 5 feathers) that could be assembled into a turkey. I also made in-the-hoop turkey labels with everyone’s first initial embroidered on them. I love how everything turned out!

And I just realized I never blogged about Thanksgiving last year…oops! Blame it on the awful morning sickness thanks to little Miss Carly. Here are a few pictures from Luke’s school program last year. Doesn’t he make a cute little Indian too? The turkey sugar cookies I made were quick and easy, but cute too!
