Big News

Soooo…it’s been quite a while since we’ve posted.  It seems everytime we get motivated to post frequently, something comes up.  We’ve both had some personal things going on that have caused us to neglect the blog (all good though!).  We talk almost daily on the phone and it’s become a joke that we need to blog…hopefully we’ll now get back on track.

Here’s what’s been going on in my world…

Yep, Luke’s going to be a big brother as I’m currently 15 weeks pregnant!

That explains why I’ve been MIA for awhile. I was miserable from about week 6 to week 12. I’m talking MISERABLE! There were many days where I wasn’t able to keep anything down, not even a sip of water. I even ended up in the hospital for dehydration at one point. Not fun at all! Finally, a couple weeks ago, I began feeling normal again and am now making up for the weeks of not eating. It seems like I’m always hungry these days! We’re hoping to find out the gender in the next couple of weeks so that we can have a mini gender reveal party when we’re home for Christmas. Can’t wait!

On another note, our mom passed away on this day 4 years ago. This makes Thanksgiving a bittersweet holiday each year, but is also a reminder to not take anyone for granted and to give thanks for one another. I know that mom is watching over us and is so excited that her fourth grandchild is on its way!
