Balloon Wreath

Do you ever see a project that someone else has completed and think, why didn’t I think of that? That’s what I thought when I saw this Birthday Balloon Wreathand just had to make one. Isn’t it cool looking?

I used a foam wreath from the Dollar Store, a LOT of balloons, and greening pins. That’s it! To hang it up, I stuck a balloon on with several greening pins (to be sure that it would support the weight of the wreath), punched a hole in the top, and hung it on a hook.
I don’t know why, but I just love wreaths! They’re so festive and fun (and usually pretty cheap to make). My only problem is that after making them, I’m never sure where to hang them. The Book Page Wreath and Gumdrop Wreath that I made last December have been stuck in the attic since I took down our Christmas decorations…until today, that is! I decided to take over the empty wall in our guest bedroom/bike room/craft room/office/gym and hang them up. I think it adds a nice touch of color to the room.
Now I need to make a few more wreaths to fill up the wall!
